KE Excellence Award and HKU Innovator Award 2021

The university-level KE Excellence Award was introduced in 2015-16 to recognise the significant impact that our academic staff had made to benefit society. The KE Excellence Award 2021 was awarded to Dr Duangporn Duangthip and team members – Professor Chun Hung Chu, Professor Edward Chin Man Lo, and Professor Cynthia Kar Yung Yiu of the Faculty of Dentistry.

The HKU Innovator Award was introduced in 2020-21 to recognise outstanding Faculty members whose innovations demonstrate exceptionally high potential impact (legacy or projected legacy) with transformative results to foster development. The HKU Innovator Award 2021 was awarded to Professor Tong Zhang of the Faculty of Engineering.
