Contract Research Agreements

Abstract:

Many HKU researchers undertake contract research or consultancy/service projects with outside organisations for the purpose of research collaboration/application or knowledge exchange. How does Technology Transfer Office (TTO) help our researchers review their draft agreements with external parties for these purposes? What are the important issues that HKU's researchers should be aware of? In this lunch meeting, the speaker from TTO will explain the role of TTO in this process and common legal issues as well as introduce templates for frequently used agreements.
