Applicants of HKU Impact: Social Media Competition will be deemed to have read, understand and accept the following terms and conditions.
Eligibility Criteria
- Open to all HKU PG students whose are in their penultimate year or final year of study.
- Students who are ineligible to participate will be disqualified from the competition.
Publicity and Copyrights
- Applicants must present their own research and should note that due to the nature of the competition, the entries will be shared and publicized on the social media platforms and/or university’s websites for promoting knowledge exchange.
- Applicants retain full ownership of any intellectual property associated with their competition entries.
- All proposals submitted to the competition and their delivery do not infringe on any intellectual property right of any third party.
- By entering the competition, applicants agree that their entries may be used by the Knowledge Exchange Office, HKU (KEO) for publicity.
- Applicants automatically grant permission to KEO to distribute and publish their competition entries including but not limited to printed and online media.
- No plagiarism is allowed.
Judging
- The Knowledge Exchange Office reserves all rights to matters relating to the competition – including competition rules, disputes and disqualifications.
