The Entrepreneurship Academy 2024 kicked off with an incredible start! Professor Max Shen, Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research) of The University of Hong Kong, delivered an awe-inspiring opening speech, setting the stage for an electrifying series of sessions. A definite highlight was the keynote speech by Mr. Victor Wang, co-founder of ZhenFund 真格基金, who shared invaluable insights on the opportune moment to launch a business and strategies for assembling a formidable startup team. The event drew an impressive crowd of over 450 participants.

The "Second Forum of Knowledge Transformation Series: Artificial Intelligence and Intelligent Manufacturing" at the 2024 Hong Kong University International Science and Technology Innovation Competition showcased the latest advancements and future prospects of AI and intelligent manufacturing. The event, co-organised by The Hong Kong University China Business School and the Science and Technology Innovation Center, received strong support from the Shanghai Putuo District Science and Technology Committee and Shanghai Lingang Taopu Zhichuangcheng Economic Development Co. Ltd. Experts, scholars, and industry leaders convened to discuss the integration of AI and manufacturing. The forum also featured insights on the development of Putuo District as a vibrant hub for scientific and technological innovation, as well as a presentation on how AI is revolutionising the catering industry.
